Breaks are shortened but above all, it’s good to go to school .

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION ON 22.04.2021
“Save our World, save our future, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”.
Each year the 22nd of April is celebrated as the Earth Day. It is celebrated to create awareness about protecting our planet and preserving the environment. Saving water, reducing pollution, protecting the wildlife, plants and trees, recycling waste are just a few means to saving our environment. Although only one special day is dedicated for this cause, it is the continuous effort of each individual including children that would really make a difference. A Competition was held at Army Public School, Bathinda Mil Stn. on the occasion of World Earth Day. The thought behind conducting this competition was to make the children more concerned about ‘Mother Earth’. For this, a Colour Time Activity was planned for class II in which the students had to make a poster on Earth Day and for Class IV Poem Recitation was conducted. Many students participated and got positions. Active participation of the students in this activity made them learn about the environment, how they can preserve it and why. All the efforts are truly appreciated.
